Organic Peruvian Coffee

Peru has been producing coffee for millenniums. In the earlier years coffee production was limited to domestic consumption, until the late 1800´s when they started to focus more and more on exporting their coffee. Today, Peru exports almost 90% of its coffee to countries like Germany, USA, Sweden, Colombia, Belgium and many others. Their reach around the world, has made Peruvian coffee one the most popular
and delicious coffee beans in the world.

On arrival in Cusco, Peru we recommend trying this bean from the source. There are a number of reasons that make Peruvian coffee special. Firstly, the coffee is grown in the Andes Mountain in areas that lie at average elevation of 1 000m/3 300ft to 1 800m/5 900ft. The elevation gives it its rich flavor and aroma. Farming is done by small farmers and the coffee is picked by hand. It is 92% organic and is certified 100% Fair Trade.
